What to do, what to do

I am having a crisis in my work life. The writing is on the wall - the bathroom wall! - as reference librarians are more and more directional help staff "Where's the bathroom? Where do I return books?" The questions are not inspiring!

And my job offers little in the way of web work, which is one of the creative outlets I worked my way into when I saw the writing on the wall. Our library web page has been hijacked by the city, and they have done us no service at all. Now, along with locating the bathrooms, I am asked why our web page sucks. NOT FUN!

So, what to do next? Perhaps I should take some online classes and learn new computer skills? Or start creating jewelry for a living. No, wait, that is like selling pukka shell necklaces on the beach in Maui. A dream that brings a smile and little else. Certainly not money.
