If I had more time, this is the kind of organization I would volunteer for. I live within walking distance of the rocky bay area where volunteers tend to cats dumped in this area. Do you know about the incredible cat sanctuary in the middle of Rome? I was so touched when we visited Italy and found this small piece of kitty heaven.
